1. What Learning Frontier Is

Learning Frontier.AI is a digital learning platform that allows users to:

• Read ebooks by recognised authors within a digital reader
• Interact with AI-based avatars representing those authors through:
  • Text-based chat
  • Voice conversations
  • Face-to-face video conversations

All features are provided for learning, reflection, ideation, personal development, and coaching-like inquiry and simulated reflective dialogue.

2. Important Disclaimer About Avatars

AI avatars on Learning Frontier:

• Are artificial simulations
• Are not the human author
• Do not provide personal opinions or professional advice

Voice and face interactions are synthetic non-human representations, not live or recorded calls with the author.

3. No Professional Advice

Learning Frontier and its avatars do not provide:

• Medical advice
• Legal advice
• HR or employment advice
• Operational or managerial directives

Users remain solely responsible for their decisions, actions taken, and any or all results.

Any coaching-like interactions are simulated, automated experiences provided for general informational and educational purposes only, and do not constitute professional human coaching, therapy, or advisory services.

4. Ebook Access

Ebooks purchased on Learning Frontier:

• May be read only within the platform
• May not be downloaded, copied, or redistributed
• Are licensed for personal use only

Access to AI interactions may require purchase of the relevant ebook or author-specific subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Misrepresent AI outputs as statements by the human author
• Use the platform for performance evaluation, surveillance, or disciplinary action
• Record, scrape, or redistribute avatar interactions

6. AI Limitations

AI outputs:

• May be inaccurate or incomplete
• May vary between interactions
• Should not be relied upon for critical decisions

7. Fees and Subscriptions

Learning Frontier is a paid, subscription-based platform. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learning Frontier's liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10. Privacy, Biometric Notice, and Avatar Features

Use of text, voice, and face-to-face avatar features is also governed by our Privacy Policy (including the AI Avatars, Voice & Face Interactions addendum) and our Illinois Biometric Information Notice, where applicable.
